Michael R. Michael R. Papciak, M. D.

Dr. Michael R. Papciak is a graduate of The University of Michigan Medical School. His training includes a residency in pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He is Board Certified and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a past Chief of Pediatrics at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and is presently a clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Emory University School of Medicine. Atlanta Magazine has four times named Dr. Papciak as one of Atlanta’s “Top Doctors.” He is married and the father of five children.

Cindy Cindy  Juster, M.D.

Dr. Juster attended Boston University for her premedical studies. Her Doctor of Medicine is from Boston University School of Medicine with Magna Cum Laude honors. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining our practice, she practiced in Atlanta for 9 years. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has a great deal of experience managing high-risk newborns and has a special interest in asthma and allergy management. She has one child and makes her home in Dunwoody.

Madelaine D. Madelaine D. Murad, M.D.

Dr. Murad completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Arts and was Phi Beta Kappa. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Her internship and pediatric residency were at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in New York. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Murad has practiced pediatrics in Atlanta since 1983. She has a daughter and makes her home in Dunwoody.

LaRue D. LaRue D. Penny, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Penny is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and of the Medical College of South Carolina in Charleston, where he completed his residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric ambulatory medicine. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Penny was in private practice and a clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He is married and has two children.

Elinor B. Elinor B. Douglass, M.D.

Dr. Douglass is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is Board Certified, a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. A native of Texas, Dr. Douglass practiced pediatric medicine in Dallas prior to moving to Atlanta. She is married and has three children.

Kelley Kelley Shaw, CPNP

Kelley is a native of Atlanta and graduate of The Lovett School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Master’s of Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Emory University. Kelley has experience as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, CO, and Scottish Rite and Egleston children’s hospitals in Atlanta. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Kelley is a member of the International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Patricia Rainey, CPNP

Patricia is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Valdosta State University and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Patricia has 13 years of experience in private practice as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a nursing instructor at the School of Nursing at Georgia State University and is the President Elect of the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Patricia is an Atlanta native; she lives in Johns Creek with her husband and two children.

Amy Fuhrer, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Amy Fuhrer is a native of Atlanta and received her master's degree from Georgia State University's Communication Disorders program. She is a nationally and state licensed speech-language pathologist who has worked in the public school system and in private practice. Her client population has included children diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, Angelman syndrome, and developmental delay. She has attended courses related to pediatric swallowing disorders, sensory integration disorders, assistive technology, and many others. Amy resides in Alpharetta with her husband and two young children.

Amy Amy Alcala, RD, LD

Amy Alcala is a graduate of the University of Florida Clinical and Community Dietetics Program. She has practiced as a Registered Dietitian for 22 years. Her experience includes nutrition care and counseling in the hospital, outpatient and home health care settings. She is licensed in the State of Georgia and a member of the American Dietetic Association. Amy resides in Alpharetta with her husband and three children.

Debbie Kolbrener, MA, LPC

Debbie Kolbrener is a licensed professional counselor. She graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State University and received her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at The Argosy University in Atlanta. Debbie has been on staff at Northside Hospital in Behavioral Health Services for over 15 years. She specializes in individual, family therapy, parenting strategies, relationship issues, grief and crisis management, behavioral modifications and attentional issues. She resides in Roswell with her husband and son.
