How can I help my family avoid getting sick? |
| Proper handwashing is one of the best ways to avoid germs that make you and your family sick. When washing, use the hottest water you can tolerate and any soap. Rub hands for at least 30 seconds and rinse downward from the arms to the fingers. Use a paper towel to turn off the faucet. Always wash after coughing, sneezing, or touching objects in frequently used areas, such as door handles, push carts, and stair rails.
